Cindy

Front Office Coordinator

Cindy, our front office coordinator has worked in dentistry for over 30 years and has been with our practice since 2003. "This is my second home. I am so fortunate to be a part of this dental family". When she's not working, you can find her with her grandchildren or gardening.

Denise

Dental Hygienist

Denise joined Dr. Arend's office in 2022. She received her Dental Hygiene Degree from Lane Community College and has spent the last 30 years working as a hygienist. Denise enjoys working with patients and helping them understand the importance of good dental home care practices. While Denise is away from the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, the Oregon Coast and watching college level sports.

Eva

Front Office Coordinator

Eva has about 30 years of dental experience. She started working for East Portland Dentistry back in 2001. She takes on many roles at this office including back office, front office, and taking care of plants. In her free time, you will find her outdoors hanging out with family and friends. Hiking, camping, road-tripping and gardening are among her favorites.

Lexi

Dental Assistant

Lexi is one of Dr. Joy's assistants. She has found a passion and love for dentistry and providing the best care for the patients. Outside of work she enjoys reading, being outside, and traveling.

Victoria

Dental Assistant

I have been Dr. Joy's assistant for a few years now and I love my job! I am committed to providing excellent patient care. When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family.

Maggie

Dental Hygienist

I've been a hygienist for 50 years, a Portlander for 46 years, Mom for 41 years (no grandchildren though) and part of this great team for 6 years. I love to garden, read, and travel. I'm also part of a local dental team, Neuvas Sonrisas which goes to Guatemala every year.

Mindy

Dental Hygienist

Mindy grew up in Canby, graduated from OHSU with a BS in dental hygiene and considers herself a "dental nerd". She has been part of our team since 1991. She looks forward every day to seeing old and new friends while delivering thorough and complete hygiene care. Mindy appreciates the influence and interplay between our dental and overall health. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her partner Rafael, family, and their Aussiedoodle Puccini. She also loves hiking, biking, dance and travel.
